Last year we launched our very first Four Legs First calendar to celebrate our first year of opening.
Due to popular demand we will be producing our second calendar which will be even bigger and better. The calendar will feature our best photos of each of our beloved pooches along with their fur friends from this year.
Down to last year’s success, this year we will be making our calendar available to purchase by the general public as well as our FLF family!
This year our calendar will be A2 colour and double sided (420mm x 297mm).
A lot of love, dedication and joy will be put into making this calendar for you all to enjoy throughout 2024!
Calendars are now available to be pre-ordered, the cut off date for orders is Monday 16th October 2023!
Scooby has enjoyed some dedicated human time over the last two weeks which involved playing a pivotal role in a momentous family occasion.
His human’s wedding day went off without a hitch!
On the wedding day itself Scooby carried out his duties of keeping all things calmed and collected: greeting make-up artists, hair dressers, wedding team, registrars and photographer!
He always has been a social butterfly and loves meeting new people along the way and continued to exceed these expectations throughout the special day (this included posing for lots of photographs).
He wore his bow with pride as he walked his humans down the aisle to say their vows to each other and watched them become a newly wedded couple.
With Cragwood County House Hotel’s stunning views of Lake Windermere as a backdrop, Scooby then took part in his very own photoshoot, joined by his two humans (because they insisted). He worked the camera from all angles to give us all some beautiful memories to treasure.
After recuperating for a day or two (humans not Scooby), the journey continued forward to the next destination: Lake Coniston for the honeymoon. Each day a new memory was made whether that being exploring new walks in The Lakes, road trips through various stunning landscapes or unwinding at the log cabin.
After all this hustle and bustle it’s now time to continue on with this new chapter in life – Scooby cannot wait to reacquaint with his canine friends and tell them all about his holiday.

Today we took two of our awesome four legged friends out for a nice walk at a one of our favourite walking spots.

This offer is a perfect opportunity to replenish and widen your dog’s collection of enrichment tasks. Varying enrichment tasks is a great way of keeping your pooches’ noses and brains active.
Did you know that twenty minutes of enrichment activity is equivalent to the stimulation your dog would receive from an hours walk? This is brilliant with Bonfire Night looming as walking in the evenings when fireworks are being set off can difficult! Enrichment tasks are brilliant for dogs who particularly become distressed during this period and help as a distraction.

Scooby has loved putting his paws up these past few days and is feeling well rested and excited to see his Four Legs First friends again next week!
He has enjoyed visiting lots of new walks in Staffordshire with his mum and dad along with enjoying his favourite treats and catching up on lots of sleep (you could say the same for his humans too!).
In other animal news, Donny has been receiving five star care from his aunties this week whilst we were away! I’d like to say a massive thank you to Sandy, Heather, Marilyn, Kathryn & Lesley for taking such good care of him for me! He is one lucky boy to have such lovely humans to give him lots of TLC!

Enrichment Range
Before we went on holiday, we shared with you that we are widening our range of enrichment tasks available on our website. We took these on holiday for Scooby to try whilst we were taking a break and they went down a storm. A super way of keeping your four legged friends minds busy! Scooby’s favourite was the treat dispenser, it really got him to use his nose and brain! These will soon be available and ready to purchase.

TheScooby Shack
It doesn’t stop there! We also have some more exciting news to share with you! We will be soon opening our very own ‘Scooby Shack’ as another facility to our services! This is dedicated to our beloved Scooby Doo as he loves to play with his friends as much as they love to play with him. We know that all our dogs at Four Legs First love the outdoors and exploring new areas.
Celebrating 2023 Together as a Family!
I never thought that our Four Legs First Family would have grown so quickly since starting up in January this year! I am always overwhelmed and feeling so lucky to have such fantastic family members of Four Legs First! I never knew taking a leap of faith would have been so successful and fulfilling! This is why I would love to celebrating all of you for being amazing over this past year. As a way of marking the occasion, we will be releasing a Four Legs First Calendar (First Year Limited Edition) to all existing customers. I will be reaching out shortly if I haven’t already done so regarding this!!

Sometimes the perfect way for pooches to let off steam is to just have a good run around in a safe, enclosed environment where they can run, play ball and just generally be a dog.
Four Legs First regularly takes our brilliant pooches out for a good run and play at the Freedom field. We love to see how happy they are when they are free be themselves here.
Someone is happy with them self!
Featured in the photo above are five of some of our favourite four legged friends each with their own awesome personalities, who all enjoy the freedom field in different ways. Whether that be running, pottering and sniffing, chasing and jumping after balls – there is endless fun to be had here!
We can vouch for the fact that after a good hour or more here your pooch will be well satisfied and sleep very well!

I am sure you are aware that my biggest supporter has been from Paul, my fiancé. He has always had faith in my capabilities in setting up my own business and a complete change in career. Paul has never doubted me even when I have doubted myself. I will be forever grateful for his love, generosity, support and ability to create fabulous creations with IT!
Important announcement! Today is Katherine’s 30th Birthday!
That’s right, the Katherine you all know and love with her wicked sense of humour has just reached 30. I keep telling her 30 is a great age so not to worry, but it usually backfires with a joke from Katherine that I’ll always be the older one.
Another trip around the sun, Katherine has had a busy year. After various life stresses, towards the end of 2021 Katherine took a leap of faith and started Four Legs First Pet Services. From then on, she’s put her heart and soul into making sure every four legged friend under her service gets the best care, love, fuss, brain training, walks, ball throws – Bear!! and much much more. I’ve seen all sorts of dogs with Katherine over this time, and one thing they have in common is how much fun they get out of their time with Katherine.
Seeing how many steps Katherine clocks in at each day is eye watering but she always finds time for her friends and family. I’m sure in the fact that I can say on their behalf how we all love her to bits & wish her a very happy birthday!
